Grand Isle Resort Bahamas Wedding | Take us back! A wedding along the white sandy beaches and clear teal waters of the Bahamas… what a DREAM! A few years ago, Samantha and Drew were planning another trip to Charleston (one of their absolute favorite cities!), and while visiting wanted us to capture their engagment session. We simply adored these two and when they mentioned they were planning their Grand Isle Resot Bahamas wedding and wanted us to capture it, we couldn’t have been more excited!

Passports in hand, we headed to the beautiful island of Exuma, Bahamas. When we tell you when the plane began its decent, what we saw out our windows is what you see in the movies! The tealest-blue waters we had ever seen in our lives that stretched as far as the eye could see. Watch a behind the scenese video from our trip here!

We sandwiched the wedding between a few days for ourselves. We stayed in the most adorable private beach villa. Just off the front porch, right beyond the pool and the hammocks hanging in the palm trees, was a private swing on the shoreline. Pure perfection!

We arrived at Samantha’s bridal penthouse the morning of the wedding, as she was surrounded by her closest family and friends. Not far away, Drew and his friends enjoyed a dreamy private villa of their own. Samantha and Drew shared their vows along the sparkly blue waters of Emerland Bay, and after they sealed it with a kiss, we walked the luxury resort for couples portraits. The entire experience is one we will never forget!

The night ended with a surprise to all the guests, a Junkanoo Band, locals of the island with there colorful costumes and huge floats surrounded by incredible dancers, was incrediable to experience in person! Congradulatioins Drew & Samantha, this was a breathtaking Grand Isle Resort Bahamas wedding!
