I still can`t forget my feelings when Miray contacted me for the first time regarding her marriage in Apeldoorn, Netherlands. To find out that we will have another shooting in the Netherlands after the abroad wedding shootings in Roma and Barcelona made me honestly both excited and honoured.

Because of the fact that Miray and Sebastiaan were working in the busy sector of civil aviation we had to meet up at the Istanbul Ataturk Airport to discuss the wedding details. We had the chance to meet up before Miray`s flight to the Netherlands right after her flight from Pakistan. In the limited time we had we were very sincere and as if we knew each other for years. We set all the details for the photography and videography in Apeldoorn.

Our journey to the city Apeldoorn in the Netherlands started 2 days before the wedding with Miray and Sebastiaan at the Istanbul Ataturk International Airport Departure Terminal. We meet our couple at 03.45 and went to the Skyteam Lounge to have our breakfast and to wait till the flight time. In the mean time we found a last chance to go over all the details about the wedding and Apeldoorn. Our flight with the KLM Airlines landed as estimated at 08.20 at the Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

At the exit of the airport, Sebastiaan’s father met us and after a 45-50 minutes drive we arrived at the house of Sebastiaan`s Family. Apeldoorn, which is located 96 km east from the capital city Amsterdam is also one of the most forestry areas in the Netherlands. By seeing high trees and increase in forest land you will feel that you are coming closer to Apeldoorn. This journey will make you feel like going through a pastoral painting.

After a little break in the house we went to find and decide upon the spots to take the shootings, we went with Miray and Sebastiaan around Apeldoorn and decided on the spots. After we settled at the Hotel de Cantharel where the entire wedding organisation is going to be, with the weather being nice we decided with our crew to take a trip to Amsterdam. It was also pleasant to be in the Netherlands in September where the temperature where over the average.

With its wonderful nature, its peaceful streets and the magnificent constructions of the Netherlands Royal Family, Apeldoorn was giving us unforgettable fons for the wedding photography. One part of our outdoor wedding shootings was completed one day before the wedding in the Paleis Het Loo an older summer palace of the Netherlands Royal Family. This 300 years old magnificent construction has been open for public since 1984. With the spotless landscape in there and the quietness in Apeldoorn, and the energy of Miray and Sebastiaan all together we have gotten unforgettable wedding photos.

After the outdoor shootings we changed our route to meet Miray`s family at the Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. We went back with Miray`s family to Apeldoorn.

The barbecue party at Sebastiaan`s familys` house for the sake of Miray`s family, showed us one more time how the two families of different cultures are sincerely getting along with each other.

The exciting wedding day had come. While Miray and her family were getting ready at The Hotel de Cantharel, Sebastiaan was getting ready at his house.

Everything was going accordingly to how we had planned. After the preparations till the dinner we continued our outdoor shootings.

The ceremony was very outstanding thanks to the registrar Hetty Wennekendonk. In the ceremony text it meantioned to the fact that both were working in the aviation sector, to their first encounter with each other, to the places they travelled and to the amazing proposal of Sebastiaan in Venice took everyone to those moments.

We would like to thank Miray and Sebastiaan for their trust in us and would like to wish that happiness will never leave them in their lives where they continue it in Qatar and Singapore.
